Isabelle was quick to remind me about the Fireworks Festival again this week. There will be one more next week as the final show of the month. One interesting thing I noticed by Redd's stand was a trash can I could interact with. Interesting...
I spotted what has traditionally been called in past games the ivory piano (it's white instead of the black ebony used on grand pianos), and decided I would pay that price tag. I just had to make some cash first... Wondering through our fruit orchard where I couldn't see my character reminded me of going through this section as Link in The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, I'm currently playing through. The layout is strikingly similar! What a coincidence.
I did get the piano though, and upgraded the smaller piano for the grand that is often used in recital halls in real life. I also added this desktop computer to my film studio - I'll have to order more sometime to create my editors' area I was envisioning.
Sable was commenting on this hot summer. I always enjoy seeing season or holiday-specific dialogue.
And Sylvana was asking about my favorite movie genre. As with The Legend of Zelda, I do love my Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, even Avengers films... Funny she mentioned film too, as I'm working on my film studio...
Later in the evening, I turned on the game to see the fireworks show. I did encounter something new from Redd's raffle - a fountain firework! These were in New Leaf, where you'd place it on the ground and watch the colors rise up.
As I watched the fireworks with the villagers, I also caught Sherb using a sparkler of his own - how cute! I liked how Merengue and Clay were sticking to their neighborhood to watch. Did not mean for the exact same firework to be shown in both these screenshots... Oops...
I got a new bug as well, and found my gold spot. The blue boppers were a gift from Isabelle I got today, and the green balloon I got from Redd, so overall, it was a fun night. We'll see if I participate next week or not - we're getting close to a new wave of DLC for September...?
