Saturday, October 10, 2020: Fall Fishing Tourney

It was pretty convenient that my glowing spot was literally in my yard as I headed out for the day!

Today was the Fall Fishing Tourney! I went up to C.J. to get things started, but he said I didn't have a fishing rod on me - oops!

I got distracted with some other things, starting with locating star fragments. Fauna picked the worst spot to fish, literally blocking the way as I was heading around the beach!

I bought a large spooky table at Nook's, and it was too big for my yard. So I took this as an opportunity to switch out the summertime stuff on the beach with some of this pumpkin furniture, crafting a few things with some of my orange pumpkins. I picked a few apples from the apple orchard as well to put on the table as a snack. So here's the before and after - it took a while to set up!

I also noticed in the orchard that there are different-colored leaves on the trees now! I'm not really sure when this change took place but I just noticed it today.

Once I was finished crafting a bunch of stuff, including a few fishing rods (even though I only ended up using the one...), I headed out on the fishing scene. Here are several pictures of me fishing, some alongside a few of the neighbors.

On one attempt, I managed to clutch out an additional fish before the clock ran out... and another time I was not quite so lucky. :P I didn't use bait today, just because it takes so much work to craft them!

I got a few prizes by doing the fishing, even though I didn't spend too much time today - watching The Organized Gamer fish today too, I learned if you fish with others, you can get bonus points; and if you net 300 points, you can get yourself a golden fishing trophy! I'll keep this in mind for the next Tourney. One of the exciting things I got was a fish wand! Now I don't have to keep using that Easter wand, although I think I have some other kinds of wands too...

I likedI of course went to chat to a few of my neighbors fishing.

Diana was pretty cute with her glasses on reading a book - and yeah, I've been doing the Fishing Tourney Diana! Can't you tell?

It was fun to get three goals for Nook Miles met all at once! (I love getting "Capture a Memory" when I'm snapping a photo for this blog. :P) And here's a look at some of my fish swag. I put some things on the desk I bought, but realized I had another desk with a different color right next to it! I must have forgotten all about it. This room is quickly turning into a place to just put clutter in... I'll organize things one day!
