Saturday, November 21, 2020: Clock Day

Isabelle told me about the Harvest Festival - oh, I'm sorry, "Turkey Day" - coming up this Thursday! I showed it in the City Folk blog but skipped it in the New Leaf blog in 2013. I did play it in 2014, and I think New Horizons will be more similar to the 3DS version.

Merengue sent me a letter with a clock inside, so I took her advice. Whatever you say, you cuckoo rhino. :P

The bulletin board had a new message for Thursday - literally exactly what Isabelle just told me, just in case I missed it the first time. You know, it is funny how Franklin started out running for his life from knives and forks, and now the holiday is literally named after him in respect. What a change 19 years of Animal Crossing makes!

I also heard K.K. Slider sing a pretty out-of-season tune, but oh well. I can save it for next summer then. I suppose it still fits the tropical island vibes. It's easy to forget that we're on an island now that it's so developed at this point!

At the shop, the Nooklings (as well as another clock!) were selling this 20-inch TV for a pretty cheap deal (like 8,000 Bells or something) - I figured it was a bargain and got it, as a few entries ago I was saying how I wanted a TV to see what episodes would play. I always change clothes with the dresser in my bedroom in the back, so if it's along that wall I can always see what's on before I start heading out on the town each day I play.

While I was at home, I went to my film studio and messed around with some of my spooky furniture and rejected Halloween costumes to create a set. I also set up my new clock Merengue gave me down here, because... why not?
