Tuesday, June 16, 2020: Pouring Rain

I really like the stormy summer season, especially when it's so dark in the mornings the village turns on its lights!

I've been continuing to do the anniversary event. I'm hoping to unlock the church organ item to use in my concert hall (if I can get it to fit!), but it seems I have to keep coming back to get it as an option. I definitely have enough heart crystals for it though.

Here's a funny cinematic shot when I just threw everything in randomly and called it a day from yesterday. Cyrus looks quite pleased. :P

I also added this imperial bench to my Japanese-themed bedroom, which I'm not sure if I showed it or not. I have my Switches on the dresser next to my bed (seeing as the Switch IS a Nintendo/Japanese product!), and a paper lantern with a flower design on it. I have nostalgic memories in past Animal Crossing games of having a fan in my room during the summer months as well. This room basically replaces my main room I was slowly building up in the past. I still have several rooms that need to be redecorated; maybe in the future I could do a blog entry about my process redecorating.

Finally, I like the look of the glowing money spot when it's gloomy out; it really shines some light in the scene!

Last night, instead of working on my New Horizons house, I spent some time renovating my CityFolk66 YouTube channel! The logo hasn't been changed since 2011 (and I will probably change it again soon; I just wanted to update it somehow for now!), and I created new artwork for the channel page, including my ACNH character, Mario and Link, and my violin. I believe this sums up everything I hope to do on this channel. Please check it out (or perhaps you're reading this from there)! I will continue to live-stream Animal Crossing, as well as older and current Nintendo games, and upload violin and piano covers and original compositions as well! This site basically came alongside the channel (both inspired by JVGS Jeff, who you should definitely check out!!), so I thought it was worth sharing this update.

And as Jeff always says, Never Stop Crossing!! :)
