Wednesday, March 25, 2020: Customization is Lit!

I didn't get around to playing till the evening, but Tom Nook announced a new customization workshop available. He didn't even acknowledge Mabel setting up her wares next to him! I bought a new outfit for my character. It's odd not seeing Mabel in the Able Sisters... Though, I suppose she was outdoors selling in the iOS Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp...

Also, Tommy called me on my phone letting me know he sent some money to my bank account from when I used the drop-off box last night. Oops, I completely forgot about it...

I did take up on Tom Nook's customization workshop and made a wooden dresser that I could then customize, choosing the type of wood it was made from - I chose a darker wood. (Great to see how this amazing feature from New Leaf is making its way here!) The dressers in this game allow you to quickly change your outfit! Check out the new carpet and wallpaper in my house. The homes are stunning in this game, from those initial trailers to now!

I also used my Nook Miles to expand my inventory - now I have three rows for items!

I also went and met the new villager that moved in - Sherb! He's pretty cute, and is still moving in. I believe the other two villagers will move in for the next couple days, and then our island will really be thriving!

Finally, some crafting I did - here's a lamppost that Lyman asked me to place down in the town. When the villagers ping you in this game, they have a little word bubble above their heads - I like the addition of this feature!

And finally, I made a bonfire, which I put next to my sister's beach home. She's created quite a forest of pine trees behind her plot of land... This was in the afternoon when I was busy working IRL, she was playing! (This is the "lit" part of my title.) It's lit! It's nice you can get rid of the map, which blocked the view of the bonfire, that usually pops up in the corner of the screen (their solution to using the bottom screen from New Leaf in this game).
