Saturday, December 12, 2020: Marine Song 2001

I decided to save making a snowman for the family, but I did chat with the one I made yesterday. It's starting to melt. He did give me another large snowflake.

I also learned you can (somehow) drop snowflakes on the ground. My dad is building a Fortress of Solitude from Superman, and so I'm donating all my ice furniture to him.

I was just taking a few snapshots of parts of the island in this early-morning winter scene. It is absolutely gorgeous in this game! Even in Handheld Mode. And that's right - I got stung by a wasp because I was looking on the News section of the Nintendo Switch menu, and they were talking about collecting ornaments for the festive season! I didn't realize I had to wait until there are lights on the trees first. Thought I'd put in the Switch UI anyways - nostalgia for the console for the future. :)

I met my camper, Paolo. A bit strange they decided to keep the tents in the winter instead of the igloos, in my opinion.

In the evening, I had K.K. Slider sing for me - the Marine Song 2001, which Stampy has playing in his house! I also know it as the song Kapp'n sings from the original game, even though I don't think Kapp'n was introduced until 2002... Huh.

Finally, I got some pictures of the rock-paper-scissors joke I remember from New Leaf. I think it's the same lines, too! Perhaps City Folk as well; I can't remember.
