Wednesday, January 20, 2021: Lost Ornament

I got a couple letters in the mail today. The first was from Fauna, and I completely agreed with her sentiment about planning to sleep in after a long day, but getting up to get work done the next day anyway! The second was from Sherb, thanking me for attending his birthday party. He sent me a café uniform. It reminded me of working for Brewster in New Leaf, however brief the time I spent doing it!

I found Sydney, Cookie, and Diana doing their Naruto-running through the plaza. I bet it was Cookie who started it. :P

I bought some orange and gold wrapping paper while I saw it at the shop. I don't need it for anything right now, but I stocked up for future birthday parties, gifts for villagers, or if it lasts that long I suppose, next Christmas! I also noticed a common grammatical error when checking out the clothes on display at the Able Sister's. There's a missing article before the name of the item.

The cliffs we built up right behind the top row of villager homes often hides stuff I don't notice for weeks. Today I uncovered a blue ornament sitting by the tree, probably from when I was after a recipe last month. I also saw this tree sweater that reminded me of a Christmas tree, so I bought it for next year.

Finally, Saharah was in town, and I bought the carpet and wallpaper set she was selling.

I'm planning on putting together a town tour video on Friday, like the town tours I've done in Wild World in 2010 and City Folk in 2011 on my main channel. This would probably be the culmination of showing off the island in its current state, as I'm hoping to do some major redecorating sometime in the future! For example, besides obstacle courses, I could create some new themes. The Mario furniture will be arriving at some point in March, and I would love to make use of the mage/wizard items and ice things to create some Final Fantasy set - I've been getting quite excited about the Final Fantasy VII Remake and Final Fantasy XVI games today!
