Saturday, September 12, 2020: Music to my Ears

Last last night, I went to Phil's house, and he wanted to know more about the type of music I listen to. Although it's probably a tie between classical/Western Art music, VGM, and film scores, I went with the second option. I do enjoy New Horizon's soundtrack as one to put on in the background while I'm working on something else, but I still think I prefer the GameCube score for the nostalgia. I do appreciate this score has live instruments - I can't wait to hear them in the winter months as I've gotten some hits at the sleigh bells and glockenspiel from listening to the soundtrack!

And tonight, K.K. Slider was in town! He surprised me - I guess I'm just not used to the traditional Saturday night dog concerts anymore. Anyways, as The Organized Gamer shared "Drivin'" on a video I recently watched as a secret K.K. tune, I requested that one. (I feel like I've been sharing a lot of YouTubers playing this game throughout this blog and my New Leaf blog - I like TOG's videos because she's basically only plays life-sim games, like The Sims 4 and, of course, Animal Crossing.

I enjoyed listening to the tune with the rain in the background at our concert area and at the jukebox in my yard. It was very soothing, listening with my headphones plugged into my Switch.
