Thursday, September 10, 2020: Being Neighborly

When I was briefly playing a couple days ago, I noticed Fauna in this adorable outfit while it was raining, and couldn't help snapping a picture.

Today, I noticed Sylvanna and Diana fishing together by the river. I've been watching some videos of The Organized Gamer playing this game, and sometimes I agree with her, that the villagers should be able to catch fish. Of course, that could be frustrating if they nab a super-rare fish, but...

Today, while I was at the store, I splurged on this golf bag. Merengue also told me her childhood story of wanting to live in a store.

I also never noticed you can buy balloons here as well. It's easy to forget about the cabinet! In the past games, all the special seasonal items would be on display on a counter, rather than locked behind a menu (albeit a very nice-looking one - I still love the GUI of this game!).

I saw Sherb watering his flowers in his yard - I guess he's finally finished his breakfast to go and do his morning chores!

I went and checked out Phil's house for the first time. It looks pretty posh.

Finally, I played cards with Plucky. I didn't recognize her, but I thought she may have been exclusive to the original GameCube game until New Leaf!
