Wednesday, April 8, 2020: Chatting with my Neighbors

Note: As I get busier in real-life, and I'm at a bit of a resting point in terms of progress in the game (I feel like I've made it to the start of New Leaf, a sort of "New Game Plus" version of the previous games, if you will), I may start to not post as often here. Today's session really reminded me of my shorter play sessions in 2011 and 2013 in the afternoon after school, since I played at 3:30pm. However, because this game is already so special to me, and it is all over the place online at the moment, I am hoping to continue these posts over a longer period of time than just the fall as I had with the previous games. Just something to let you all know going forward - of course if you're reading this years from now, you already know all of this I'm sure! :)

Anyways! Isabelle actually had no news for me (speaking of what I was talking about above!), but offered some encouraging words for the week. Once we get through these next couple days, we'll have an exciting weekend ahead in the game!

I didn't take any pictures but my mom (in real-life) sent me a bunch of presents in the game, like an amp and an electric guitar, and a tuxedo for when I do my next live-stream! Thanks, Mom! :)

Sable is starting to warm up to me at the Able Sisters. (I like how she calls Mable "Mabes" now.) I can't remember if I've seen Label in this game or not yet, or if that was a video I was watching some of...

I also bought K.K. Jongara, a tune I learned on the violin (again, IRL) when it was first introduced in New Leaf back in 2013.

Anyways, for the rest of my short play session, I hit a couple rocks to mine ore, and chatted with my neighbors on a nice walk down, so here are a few conversations I had with them. I hope you're enjoying the blog, and please keep checking the site, as I hope to be continuing it for a good while! I am absolutely loving New Horizons, and it is already my favorite game on the Switch, and perhaps of all-time, too! :)
