Sunday, September 8, 2013: Fishin' for Bells

Post date: Sep 8, 2013 2:04:30 PM

The first thing I did was head into the newly opened Shampoodle to get a Mii makeover, which was also the first thing I did there in City Folk. So I was wrong! GracieGrace must be built sometime else! Well. All I can do is wait.

After that, I headed back into town and noticed all the fruit trees had grown back. That means today is a money-making day! (At least, maybe that's what I'll start doing, if I have the time to play.) I also noticed everything has gotten a bit greener. Fall is definitely on the way! :)

After fruit, I moved on to fishing. As 8am wore on, the sky grew brighter, and four of my villagers were all hanging around in one area! It was crazy!

But I had a good time fishing. I caught a few new things, but mostly fished in the river, since I could not find anything in the ocean.

I also did the money rock. I discovered this trick a little while ago, and it probably works in the other games, too. Instead of putting one hole to the side and back, put three holes in the back. That way, you can still mash A and not be bounced back too far, but you can also free up space for an extra Bell amount. I made around 15,000 just with this!

All in all, I made exactly 20,000 Bells fishing. I paid off 98,000 of them for my debt. Just 56,000 to go!
