I met my new neighbor Phil today! He seems pretty neat. He was humming "Lucky K.K." while looking out the river, because our marketplace with that tune is in the general vicinity of where he was. I had more pictures with him, but I accidentally deleted them on my Switch!
There was this really neat kimono stand for sale at Nook's. I just love all the references to not just Japanese culture but lots of different worldwide cultures and just general objects that exist in the world in Animal Crossing. I hope sometime soon I can stop procrastinating on finishing up my house decorations!
This monarch butterfly gave me a new milestone for Nook Miles for bugs. Reminding me of my little JRPG Challenge I did with Animal Crossing: Wild World last year (I keep mentioning it!), where I had to get milestones to get experience points. The Nook Miles really did turn out like an in-game version of what I was doing, thinking along the lines of Final Fantasy and Square Enix's games and that. :)
I stumbled upon a bunch of my villagers in the plaza doing a community workout. Alrighty then, when did this memo arrive?? :) It would be so cute if we could lift weights or suck on popsicles and do whatever they're doing too! I recently read an article on a Japanese game conference that was held recently, and the devs of this game discussed how they designed the villagers. I've been watching a lot more videos on this game on YouTube recently too...
Thinking of ranking the games, I agree with a list I found: this one is definitely an S-tier game for me, followed by GameCube and New Leaf in A, and Wild World and City Folk in B. I can't wait for the game to be "complete" following all of its updates!
