Transactions - Dashboard

Overview

The Transaction Dashboard provides all the Transaction Summaries in one view, including:

• Milestones

• Notes and Reminders - All the Notes linked to the Transaction Flow are displayed.

• Linked Transactions

• Attachments

• Outstanding - Outstanding quantities to downstream transactions.  A downstream transaction needs to be selected.

• Audits 

• Emails - Emails that were sent from the Transaction

Milestones

The Transaction Milestones are an ordered list of the Transaction Header Statuses, excluding the Cancelled Statuses.  This functionality is especially useful in a production environment, where you might release jobs in a phased approach from, say Pending to prepare Material to start Production.

The Start and Due dates are automatically set from the Start (Days)  and Duration (Days) in the Status setup. 

Settings

• Setup >  Transactions > Status. 

  • The Start Date is calculated from the Transaction Date.

  • If these Settings are blank, the Start and Due dates will not be set. 

  • If Start = 0, then the Start Date is set to the current date.

• Transaction Setting > Enable Transaction Milestones from Status (Y/N - Default = N). When No, the Milestone Records are not created when a new Transaction is created.
