Aug 1846 - Brewster Sessions - Constable Williamson complained of the Walker's Arms, kept by John Wood, being a house to which the most desperate and disorderly characters resorted. It was proved that a prize fighter had recently been trained there. Licence was suspended.

13 Jun 1861 - Court Case - Josiah Walker of the Walker's Arms was charged under the new Weights & Measures Act with having several mugs and glasses that were deficient in measure and customers were getting 35% less than they should. This was the first case at court under the new law and defendant was fined 5 shillings as an example to other beersellers.
16 Oct 1868 - Court Case - Numerous cases were heard at Bradford under the Weights & Measures Act. Emanuel Squires, innkeeper of Scholes was charged with having a number of gill glasses too small. Fined 6s with 15s costs.

22 Jan 1874 - Court Case - Emanuel Squire, landlord of the Walker's Arms was charged with permitting drunkenness on his premises when a group of young men were involved in a drinking match. Case was not proven and Squire was acquitted.

27 Jan 1908 - Inquest - Held at Bradford Town Hall surrounding the death of a 16 year old girl employed as a domestic servant at the Walker's Arms, Scholes. Whilst dusting around a fireplace, her clothes caught fire. She was taken to hospital but died 2 weeks later. Verdict: Accidental death.
