Located at Clough Lane in a very tranquil setting, the cemetery was opened in 1903.

Burials

These are not "official" burial records but death notices from local newspapers which state the interment took place here. This project is as complete as possible for now, but further details may later appear as and when located.

1911 census residing at "Cemetery House" Liversedge is William Trevitt, Cemetery Registrar.

Jul 1933 - Cemetery Registrar James William Cooper appointed at a salary of three guineas a week with rent and rate-free house.

18 May 1951 - Spenborough Urban District Council advertise for a gravedigger at Liversedge Cemetery. The wage will be £5 14s 6d for a 44 hour week.
