1879 - 1881?: John MYERS
1881 - 1892 Benajmin Joseph TUNGATE
Born 1856 in Lincolnshire. Was previously minister in the Sheffield area and came to Cleckheaton in the early 1880s. Whilst resident in Cleckheaton, he lived at Tofts House. In July of 1891 he announced his resignation which would take effect from August 1892. During his 10 years at the Chapel, over 400 members had been admitted. His resignation was due to to strain of his work taking a toll on his health. Died 19 Feb 1938 in Suffolk.
1892 - 1898?: Walter LEICESTER
Started his ministry here on 4 Sep 1892. Had previously been in the Sheffield area. Also resided at Tofts House whilst in Cleckheaton.
1898? - 1901: James Christopher BREWITT
Born 1843 in Lincolnshire. Previously in service at Norwich. Lived at Belle Vue Villas, Whitcliffe when in Cleckheaton. Resigned his post in late 1900 and died in Barrow-in-Furness in 1905.
Abt 1902 - 1908: William Christopher JACKSON
Born 1874 in Lincoln. Was educated at Cambridge and was previously on the Circuits of Salford and London. Lived at Somersby, Whitcliffe Road whilst in Cleckheaton. In Jul 1908 he was appointed Minister of Hill Top Chapel in Burslem, Staffordshire. He died 6 Apr 1944 at Stockport, aged 69.
Abt 1908 - 1913: Arthur Henry BOYDEN
Born in 1867 at Bedminster, Somerset. Arrived in Cleckheaton after serving at the United Methodist Chapel in Exeter and prior to that was at Blackpool and Southport. Delivered his farewell sermon in August of 1913 and went to Forest Hill Chapel in Sydenham. He was apparently known as the "three-fold bachelor" but there are no clues as to the reason why! Whilst at Cleckheaton he lived at Grange Road with his wife and daughter. He died 18 Jul 1940 at Chichester.
1913 - 1915: William Havelock FIELD
Born 1872 in Norwich. Arrives in Cleckheaton having previously served at Streatham. In 1915 he accepts an offer to become Army Chaplain, with the consent of the church and congregation and takes up post at Cannock Chase and later in Egypt where he was gassed and shell-shocked. He received four mentions in dispatches. He died at Sunderland in 1927.
