Located at New Street, Rawfolds and was known locally as "The Fat Pot." The name Fat Pot seems to originate from the time when George Walker was landlord in the early 1900s. He would have a bowl of dripping on the table, along with a loaf of bread, so that customers could make themselves a free sandwich.
The Compensation Authority refused to renew it's licence in 1923, so presumably that is when it ceased being a public house.
23 Aug 1869 - Brewster Sessions - Annual session for the granting and renewal of licences was held at Dewsbury. It being the first session in which the new Wine and Beer Act was put in force. The licence for John Turner of the Talbot Hotel, Rawfolds was granted without any objection.

18 Feb 1921 - Court Case - Landlord of the Talbot was charged with supplying during during prohibited hours and also with attempting to bribe a Police Constable. Fined 40s and £5 or 28 days in prison.
7 Mar 1921 - Licence Renewal - Refused on the grounds that the house was a disorderly house (granted on appeal 4 Apr 1921).
