Located at Quarry Lane, Hightown in premises known as Quarry House. In a newspaper article dated 1871 it was also the home of "Hightown Gardens" just 10 minutes walk from Cleckheaton Station and from which a view of 30 miles can be obtained. Dancing every Saturday evening with William Fenton's Quadrille Band. Teas, hot water and other refreshments as well as ale, porter and cigars of the best quality. Strict order and decorum will be adhered to and an admission charge of 3d made. The premises were closed for business in 1934.
