All that part of the Township of Gomersal commencing at Smithies bounded on the north by the Gomersal and Dewsbury Turnpike Road as far as the footway leading from that road to the Holme Lane End and Heckmondwike Turnpike Road near Mr Taylor’s in Great Gomersal, on the west by that footway and the last mentioned Turnpike Road by Hill Top to the Township of Heckmondwike and on the south and east by the Townships of Heckmondwike and Batley to Smithies.
