Located at the main crossroads of the Leeds & Huddersfield and Dewsbury & Bradford roads at Millbridge. Early records suggest the premises were called the White Swan, the Swan with two Necks and the Alma Hotel. Demolished about 1980 due to it being structurally unsound.

24 Sep 1856 - Newspaper Article - Members of the Oddfellows' and Shepherds' lodges met at the Alma Hotel, Millbridge, house of William Whiteley, to celebrate the opening of a new lodge room recently added to the premises.
1857 - Trade Directory - Post Office Directory of Yorkshire records the premises as the Alma Hotel with William Whiteley the landlord. Given the fact that there was Alma Foundry adjacent to the premises, and that William Whiteley was still landlord at this time, it is believed the entry relates to this location.
