6 Sep 1867 - Court Case - William King, landlord of the Beevor's Arms, was convicted of permitting drunkenness and fined 20s and costs.
23 Aug 1869 - Brewster Sessions - William King appeared on the "black list." His house, situated at Shaver Hill, was said to be a badly conducted one. He had been fined £3 and costs last July for allowing 6 men and a woman, who were all drunk, to assemble in his taproom. His licence was suspended.
27 Sep 1869 - Brewster Session - William King, keeper of the beerhouse called The Beevers Arms at Shaver Hill, had his certificate suspended at the last sessions on account of having been fined £3 and costs for permitting drunkenness, but his licence was renewed as there had been no further complaint against the applicant.
