23 Aug 1861 - Property Auction - Held at the Grey Horse Inn, Roberttown, house of George Tordoff. One lot is a substantially built messuage or Beer House, called the Grey Horse, containing long room, lodge room over the same, kitchen, parlour and bedrooms, now in the occupation of George Tordoff.
23 Aug 1869 - Brewster Sessions - Annual session for the granting and renewal of licences was held at Dewsbury. It being the first session in which the new Wine and Beer Act was put in force. The licence for Henry Tordoff of the Grey Horse, Commonside was granted without any objection.

26 Aug 1872 - Brewster Sessions - It was reported that a number of premises in the district were not of a sufficient rateable value and had to be brought up to the standard. One of these being the Grey Horse, Roberttown, house of Joseph Hammond.

21 May 1889 - Court Case - Joseph Crowther, landlord of the Grey Horse, Roberttown appeared at court as a "reluctant" witness. He was the victim of the theft of several sovereigns from his pocket whilst he was in company, for several hours, with a known prostitute in Bradford.
