1841 Census – Cleckheaton District (which includes Hunsworth, Oakenshaw, Scholes and Wyke) is split into 11 Enumeration Districts. 1-6 are for the Township of Cleckheaton, 7 & 8 for the Township of Hunsworth and 9-11 for the Township of Wyke.. Descriptions and addresses associated within Enumeration Districts for this area. All Enumeration districts for the Township of Wyke have been fully transcribed by the South Bradford Local History Alliance and links to those transcriptions are represented by the appropriate buttons below.
A present day satellite image of the Township of Wyke. In 1841 the area had 3 Enumeration Districts but exact boundaries of these are not clear but are very roughly indicated on the image.
