13 Sep 1852 - A new clock is placed in the tower of Christ Church, Liversedge. To celebrate the occasion the bell ringers of that church held a performance which was ended by a meal at the Old Oak, house of Mr. H*. Goodall. (Believed this is a typo and should be F.)

22 Jul 1864 - Court Case - A local dealer in meat appeared at court charged with having carcasses of beef which were unfit for human consumption. One of the beasts had been found dead in a mistal belonging to Thomas Lee of the Royal Oak, Littletown.
