1862 - Premises built by the Albert Mill Co. Two premises occupied by Firth, Holdsworth & Co. in one and William Sharp & Son and James Taylor & Sons in the other.
1862 - William Sharp & Son - card makers (later to be part of Critchley, Sharp & Tetlow)
1868 - Plans submitted by the Albert Mill Co. were passed by the Cleckheaton Local Board for the enlargement of the premises.
1871 - Firth, Holdsworth & Co. - worsted spinners. Partnership dissolved with I Fieldhouse.
1871 - Census entry for Henry Firth shows him as a worsted spinner employing 10 men, 20 boys & 70 girls.
1888 - Death of Henry Firth, senior partner.
1901 - Firth, Holdsworth & Co. - Partnership dissolved by mutual consent of Louis & Ann Firth (Executors of Henry Firth, deceased) and John Holdsworth.
1905 - A new company formed taking in the establishments of Messrs. James Critchley & Son, New Mills, Batley Carr; Messrs William Sharp & Son, Albert Mills, Scholes and Messrs L.M. Tetlow & Sons, Britannia Mills, Cleckheaton.
1940 - Firth, Holdsworth & Co. - Firm wound up on retirement of senior partner Charles Edward Holdsworth
1956 - Large fire at premises of Swift & Co., wool merchants.

1856 - George Binns & Son (Godfrey), cloth manufacturers. Bankruptcy filed.
1868 - Frank Porritt & Co., cabinet makers.
To 1889 - Timothy Rayner, leather trade
