All that part of the Township of Heckmondwike commencing on the north side of the Market Place, at Mr. Watson’s shop, thence in a direct line to Oxley’s Yard, Kershaws Buildings, Seniors houses, Back Hope Street, Morton and Birkby’s shops, Newsome Square and Hope Street, Bevors House, Bevors Row, Vulcan Street, thence up Shaver Hill, all Swash Land, thence up north west of High Street to Milton Square, Goose Hills, thence to Mr. George Burnley’s house, Ashfield Terrace, thence all Thomas Wood’s houses on the south side of Cemetery Road, thence to Keighley’s butchers shop, up the north side of Cemetery Road in a direct line to Kitchingman’s house and Forest Hall, also Cemetery House.
