St. John Wesleyan Methodist, Hightown

Located on the main Halifax Road, not far from the top of Hightown Road and was built around the 1841 period.

In 1843 a new organ was installed at the chapel, built by Mr. Jno Nicholson of Bradford. A ceremony to mark the occasion took place on 11th Aug 1843 when Mr Mellor, a Professor of Music from Huddersfield presided at the organ..  

Baptisms for this location are available from 1841 to 1910. This project is complete.
