This shopping plaza was originally anchored by Rich's and Sun Foods. JCPenney replaced Rich's in 1995 after the bankruptcy of that discount store chain.  Sun Foods became Hannaford (Shop'n Save). EMS closed. In June 2020, JCPenney announced the closing of several stores including the Keene location.
