This shopping plaza is located between the Interstate 95 and downtown Waterville on Kennedy Memorial Drive. It's anchored by a Shaw's supermarket and a couple of small stores. There is a  20,000 sq.ft vacant retail space at the right end of the strip. Applebee's opened a restaurant on a pad site in the front parking lot.  The shopping center's site plan once had a "Future expansion" wing on it.  It would begin at the right end of the existing plaza and add a new anchor store.  Although space was available to do this expansion, it never happened. Staples once was part of the rumors but finally opened at the Waterville Commons. In the end, a Flagship Cinema was built and opened in the summer of 2004, and it is not attached to the existing plaza by a new wing. The old Shaw’s Plaza pylon sign has been replaced recently.
