RIVERSIDE PLAZA

This 203,570-sq.-ft. Shopping plaza was built in 1966 and was then anchored by Grant's and Edwards Food. Grant's closed in 1976 and Bradlees replaced it in the late 70's. Edward's became IGA but the supermarket closed in 1992 and Shaw's opened in the summer of 1993. Fayva shoes closed in 1995. Bradlees was completely renovated with a fresh look, bright lighting and wide aisles.

Unfortunately, the chain went out of business and the store closed early in 2001. Walmart opened a store in the former Bradlees in June 2002. Shaw's was expanded by taking over a former Brooks pharmacy space. Uno Pizzeria closed and Aspen Dental moved into that space. In 2013 Shaw's announced the closing of 6 NH locations including the Riverside Plaza store.
