ROCHESTER MARKETPLACE

The Rochester Marketplace is a small shopping plaza located north of Rochester on Milton Road. It's anchored by Market Basket. The plaza was build in 1980. For several years the other main tenants were Staples and Osco Drug. Osco Drug became Brooks Pharmacy. Brooks possibly became a Rite Aid when the company was acquired.

The pharmacy eventually moved across the street into a brand new free-standing building. Staples relocated to a new building in Rochester and the former space was filled by Big Lots. In May 2017, Payless Shoesource announced the closing of 387 U.S. stores including the Rochester location.
