To be of few and quiet words is to be natural;

high winds doesn't last all morning,

and heavy rains doesn't last all day.

What produces these?

Heaven and earth.

If Heaven and earth do not persist,

how much less the works of man.

So, in daily life,

one devoted to the Way becomes one with the Way;

one devoted to power becomes one with power;

one devoted to loss becomes one with loss.

To one identified with Dao, the Dao is happy to receive him.

To one devoted with its power, its power is happy to receive him.

To one identified to living without Dao, the Dao is happy to let him go.
