with all your supplies ready, open a new image at 650px by 500px,
transparent background.
open frame3, resize by 60%. pull it to the left of the canvas.
below the frame, make a retangle with your preset shape rectangle.
while you still have the vector layer selected, go back to your preset shapes on
the toolbar and on the fly out menu, click symmetric shape.
right click on your vector shape and select edit mode.
go up to your color palette and unhide the background.
you should now have something like below:
now using the same steps as the last one, make a circle.
once the circle is whole, go up to objects > align > center in canvas.
now open up papers 11 and 13 from the kit.
add a new raster layer above each of the circle and rectangle.
float and defloat your circle, go to the paper11, copy and pasted into
selection on the new raster layer above the circle.
hide the original circle layer.
do the same steps with the rectangle shape and paper13.
now for the tube, copy/paste above frame3.
I resized mine by 70%, add a drop shadow now > duplicate.
drop the duplicate below frame3.
use your freehand selection tool at point to point option.
use the below selections for reference:
its important that your feather is set to 0.
now using your freehand selection tool, select the areas that will show above the frame.
i made the following selection, click the image to see a larger preview:
hit delete on the top tube layer and invert to delete the bottom tube layer.
delete any excess tube showing outside the frame on the bottom tube layer.
now go back to your preset shape and select rectangle.
youre going to make a square above frame3 and below the top tube layer.
while holding down the shift key, pull the shape so its on top of frame3.
select symmetric shape from your preset shapes flyout and keep the background hidden.
give your square these settings:
convert to raster layer, float/defloat your square.
now open paper16, copy and paste into selection on your working canvas.
select none.
using your magic wand tool, select the inside of frame3 and expand by 5.
add a new raster layer below the bottom tube layer and fill it with black.
select none.
almost done! now its just a matter of adding elements.
i resized the elements as follows:
jeweledbracelet - 80%
rsqhrt (red sequin heart) - 30% blend mode overlay
rribbon - 50%
place them on the tag or choose other elements you'd like.
now for the text, i used 2 fonts & 2 colors.
century gothic for the plain font.
PFChampionScriptPro for the script.
#eeebe4 is the offwhite color.
#242424 is the dark grey color.
for the "can be wonderful", fill a new raster layer with #eeebe4.
convert your text raster and float/defloat and expand by 2.
invert and delete the excess #eeebe4.
i used the following drop shadow settings:
1, 1, 100, 6, #000000
and the last element is the black glitter splotch.
open and copy it at 100%.
add a new raster layer at the bottom of your layers, select all
and paste into selection. select none.
duplicate it and use glaussian blur at 2 on the bottom glitter layer.
when you're all done, copy special > copy merged.
paste as a new image and use your magic wand tool to select outside the tag.
invert selection and crop to selection.
that will get rid of any extra space that you don't need.
thats it! dont forget to add tube credit!
thanks for trying my tutorial and i'd love to see anything made from my tutorials!
