with all the files open, lets get started.

open a new image with transparent background at 750px by 650px.

add a new raster layer and select all.

open paper6 from the kit and copy.

paste into selection on new raster layer.

select none and apply the mask at default settings.

right click on the mask layer to merge the mask group.

open the glitter element from the kit and copy.

paste it as a new layer above the mask layer at 100%.

pull the glitter to the upper right corner of the mask layer.

duplicate the glitter and mirror and flip it.

merge down so its one layer.

open frame3 from the kit and resize by 70%.

copy and paste (C/P) it as a new layer above the glitter layer.

open the frame from the kit and resize by 80%.

C/P it as a new layer above the frame3 layer.

add a new raster layer below the frame and flood fill with #b8262a.

use your magic wand to click inside the frame and expand by 10.

invert your selection and hit delete on the flood fill red layer.

select none.

now open the tube and resize by 80%.

this tube that I worked with was kinda tough because it has a straight edge on one side.

so I had to pull that edge so it went under the frame.

add a drop shadow to the tube.

duplicate the tube and pull the duplicate under the frame.

now make the following selection with the rectangle selection tool:

*CLICK FOR LARGER PREVIEW*

hit delete on the top tube layer.

invert your selection and hit delete on the bottom tube layer.

select none.

now go back down to the red flood fill layer and use your magic wand to

select the outside area.

hit delete on the bottom tube layer.

select none.

now that all the basics are done, add any elements, text and tubes.

don't forget to add artist credit and license info.

for the red stars, I just duplicated it a bunch of times and resized them differently.

when you're all done, copy special > copy merged.

paste as a new image and use your magic wand tool to select outside the tag.

invert selection and crop to selection.

that will get rid of any extra space that you don't need.

thanks for trying my tutorial! =)
