shut up

Tutorial done in PSPX2.

Must having some working knowledge of the program.

with all the files ready to go, let's get started.

open my template and delete my copyright info layer.

open paper14 from the kit and copy.

paste as a new layer above the Strips1 template layer.

resize the paper by 80%.

now on the Strips1 template layer, select all/float/defloat/invert selection.

hit delete on the paper14 layer.

select none and hide the Strips1 template layer.

now add a new raster layer above the Circle template layer.

on the Circle template layer, select all/float/defloat.

open paper19 from the kit and copy.

paste into selection on the new raster layer.

select none and hide the Circle template layer.

for the Shut Up text layer, change the blend mode to Soft Light.

now add a new raster layer above the Circle Crossed Out template layer.

on the Circle Crossed Out layer, select all/float/defloat.

open paper01 from the kit and copy.

paste into selection on the new raster layer.

select none and hide the Circle Crossed Out template layer.

duplicate the Circle Crossed Out/paper1 layer.

on the duplicate layer, go up to effects > 3D effects > cutout.

apply the cutout with the following settings:

V - 0

H - 0

O - 100

B - 30

Shadow Color - #000000

Fill interior with color - UNCHECKED

merge down one layer with the Circle Crossed Out/paper1 layer.

now add a new raster layer above the Stars template layer.

on the Stars template layer, select all/float/defloat.

open paper09 from the kit and copy.

paste into selection on the new raster layer.

select none and hide the Stars template layer.

duplicate the Stars/paper09 layer.

on the duplicate, apply the same cutout settings as before.

change the blend mode to overlay.

merge down one layer so the stars and cutout are one layer.

now add a new raster layer above the Or I'll Slap U text layer.

on the Or I'll Slap U text layer, select all/float/defloat.

open any of the orange colored papers and copy.

paste into selection on the new raster layer.

select none and hide the Or I'll Slap U template layer.

now for the tube, open it and copy at 100%.

paste as a new layer below the Or I'll Slap U paper layer.

now that all the basics are done, add any elements, text and tubes.

don't forget to add artist credit and license info.

when you're all done, copy special > copy merged. 

paste as a new image and use your magic wand tool to select outside the tag. 

invert selection and crop to selection. 

that will get rid of any extra space that you don't need.
