Tutorial done in PSPX2.

with all the files open and ready to go, let's get started.

open my template and delete my copyright info layer.

on the Large Circle template layer, select all/float/defloat.

add a new raster layer above it.

open paper7 from the kit and copy.

paste into selection on the new raster layer.

select none and hide the Large Circle template layer.

on the Circles template layer, select all/float/defloat.

add a new raster layer above it.

set the following colors to your palette:

foreground - #5a3966

background - #180f1b

now use the following gradient settings:

flood fill inside the selection on the new raster layer.

select none and hide the Circles template layer.

repeat the previous steps with the Circles Frames but switch the foreground with the background.

now for the Oval template layer, select all/float/defloat.

add a new raster layer above it.

open paper6 from the kit and copy.

paste into selection on the new raster layer.

select none and hide the Oval Template layer.

duplicate the paper6 oval.

on the duplicate layer, apply a cutout with the following settings:

vertical - 0

horizontal - 0

blur - 100

opacity - 100%

shadow color - #000000

fill interior color - UNCHECKED

change the blend mode of the cutout to overlay.

merge down so the cutout and oval are one layer.

now add a new raster layer above the paper6/oval layer and select all.

open paper11 from the kit and copy.

paste into selection on the new raster layer.

select none.

now apply the mask with the following settings:

CHECKED - source luminance, fit to canvas, hide all mask.

UNCHECKED - invert transparency

now right click on the mask layer to merge the mask group.

resize the mask by 40%.

add a drop shadow with 100% opacity.

now change the blend mode of the mask layer to Hard Light.

now that all the basics are done, add any elements, text and tubes.

don't forget to add artist credit and license info.

when you're all done, copy special > copy merged.

paste as a new image and use your magic wand tool to select outside the tag.

invert selection and crop to selection.

that will get rid of any extra space that you don't need.
