let's get started! =)

first, open the template and delete my copyright layer.

hide the rounded rectangle layer.

add a new raster layer above the rectangle layer.

open paper5 from the kit and copy.

use your magic wand and click inside the rectangle.

paste into selection on the new raster layer.

hide the template rectangle layer and select none.

unhide the rounded rectangle and add a new raster layer above it.

open paper9 from the kit and copy.

paste into selection on the new raster layer.

hide the template rounded rectangle layer and select none.

now open the frame5 from the kit and resize by 80%

copy and paste (C/P) it as a new layer above the paper9 rectangle.

use your magic wand to select the area inside the frame and expand by 5.

add a new raster layer under the frame5.

open paper7 and copy.

paste into selection on the new raster layer.

select none.

open the wreath element and C/P it as a new layer above the paper7 layer.

still on the wreath element, go up to effects > photo effects > black and white film.

apply it to the wreath.

open the tube and paste it as a new layer above the wreath.

apply the same black and white film.

now on both the wreath and tube, apply the luminance blend mode.

now use your magic wand tool to select the area outside the paper7 circle.

hit delete on the wreath and tube layers to delete the excess portions.

now that all the basics are done, add any elements, text and tubes.

don't forget to add artist credit and license info.

for the leaves and ribbon elements, I used the duplicate and mirror/flip.

when you're all done, copy special > copy merged.

paste as a new image and use your magic wand tool to select outside the tag.

invert selection and crop to selection.

that will get rid of any extra space that you don't need.

thanks for trying my tutorial! =)
