Tutorial done in PSPX2.

with everything ready to go, open the template.
delete my copyright layer.
add a new raster layer above the back1 layer and select all.
open paper3 from the kit and copy.
paste into selection on the new layer.
select none ad hide the back1 template layer.
repeat steps for the back2 layer and paper1.
now open the town element and resize by 60%
copy and paste (C/P) as a new layer above the paper1 layer.
place it so the town hide where the two papers meet.
now open the moon element and just C/P it as a new layer above the town element.
place it high on the blue paper background.
next, open the spookytree element and resize it by 70%.
C/P it as a new layer above the moon element.
mirror it for the purpose of this tutorial.
now open the darkpath element and resize by 50%.
C/P as a new layer below the town element.
pull it just to the left of the spookytree.
now open and resize the following elements accordingly:
tombstone - 50%
ghost2 - 30%
ghost4 - 30%
haunted house - 30%
trickortreat bag - 50%
cat - 30%
cauldron - 30%
grass - 30%
place them all to your preference.
now for the wordart "spooky".
if you'd like a different paper for each of the letters, select however many papers you'd like to use.
if you want one, pick one.
now add a new raster layer above the wordart "spooky" for each paper you'll be using.
select all on the new raster layer(s) and copy your paper.
paste into selection on new raster layer(s).
now once all your papers are done, do not deselect.
click on the word art layer and float/defloat/invert selection.
hit delete on each paper.
once all done, invert your selection and expand by 3.
add a new raster layer below the paper(s).
open paper2 from the kit and copy.
paste into selection on new raster layer below the paper.
now select none and hide the wordart template layer.
using your eraser tool, delete the other excess portion of the paper for each letter.
at the end, don't forget to add artist credit and license info.
when you're all done, copy special > copy merged.
paste as a new image and use your magic wand tool to select outside the tag.
invert selection and crop to selection.
that will get rid of any extra space that you don't need.
