Tutorial done in PSPX2.

Must having some working knowledge of the program.

with all the files open, lets get started.

open a new image with transparent background at 750px by 650px.

add a new raster layer and select all.

open paper9 from the kit and copy.

paste into selection on the new raster layer and select none.

apply the mask at default settings.

right click on the mask layer to merge the mask group.

open the frame3 from the kit and resize by 90%.

copy and paste (C/P) as a new layer above the mask layer.

now use your magic wand tool to select the areas inside the frame.

expand selection by 8.

add a new raster layer.

open paper10 from the kit and copy.

paste into selection on the new raster layer.

select none.

now open the tube and resize by 50%.

C/P as a new layer above the paper10 layer.

pull it to the furtherest left frame.

duplicate and mirror the tube.

merge down so they are one layer.

add a drop shadow.

now open the speaker element from the kit and resize by 50%.

C/P it as a new layer above the frame.

leave it centered so it sits above the center opening in the frame.

now that all the basics are done, add any elements, text and tubes.

don't forget to add artist credit and license info.

when you're all done, copy special > copy merged. 

paste as a new image and use your magic wand tool to select outside the tag. 

invert selection and crop to selection. 

that will get rid of any extra space that you don't need.
