Tutorial done in PSPX2.
Must having some working knowledge of the program.

open the template and add a new layer above the oval layer.
select all.
open paper1 from the kit and copy.
paste into selection on the new layer.
click on the oval layer and float/defloat/invert selection.
hit delete on the paper1 layer and select none.
hide the original oval layer.
repeat the previous steps with the following:
oval frame and paper3
rectangles and paper6
rectangles frame and paper6
now open the pooledcurtain element and resize by 85%.
copy and paste (C/P) as a new layer below the paper6 rectangles frame layer.
pull the curtain to the left frame and
position so the center of the top of the curtain is in the center of the frame.
*hide the paper6 rectangles layer and show the template frame layer to see it better.*
duplicate and mirror the curtain.
add a drop shadow to each curtain and merge together.
duplicate it and drag the copy above the rectangles frame layer.
make the following selection:
hit delete on the top curtain layer.
invert selection and hit delete on the bottom curtain layer.
select none.
hide the template frame layer and show the paper6 rectangles frame again.
add a drop shadow to the paper6 rectangles frame.
now open the lace element and resize by 50%.
C/P as a new layer above the bottom curtain layer.
free rotate by 90 to the right.
pull it to the left side of the curtain.
duplicate and mirror it.
merge it together and add a drop shadow.
now open the stairrailing element and resize by 60%.
C/P it as a new layer on the very top of all layers.
leave it in the center and add a drop shadow.
now open the quadcircleframe and C/P at 100% above the stairrailing.
add a new raster layer below the frame.
open paper18 and copy.
use your magic wand to click inside each of the circles and expand by 4.
paste into selection and select none.
now open up any elements you choose to place under the frame.
you can use the paper18 to clip any excess portions.
add any of the other cookie tubes from the kit as well.
for the mask, use paper18.
add a new raster layer on the very bottom of the template.
select all and C/P into selection.
apply the mask at default settings.
now that all the basics are done, add any elements, text and tubes.
don't forget to add artist credit and license info.
when you're all done, copy special > copy merged.
paste as a new image and use your magic wand tool to select outside the tag.
invert selection and crop to selection.
that will get rid of any extra space that you don't need.
