open the template and add a new raster layer above the background layer.
select all.
open paper2 from the kit and copy.
paste into selection on new layer in working canvas.
select none.
apply the mask at default settings.
right click on the mask layer to merge the mask group.
resize the mask by 80%.
duplicate the mask and apply gaussian blur by 3.
apply the linear transmission plugin with these settings:
now add a new raster layer above the rounded rectangle layer and select all.
open paper17 from the kit and copy.
paste into selection on the new layer.
click on the rounded rectangle layer and float/defloat/invert selection.
hide the rounded rectangle layer and hit delete on the paper17 layer.
select none.
repeat the steps with the rectangle layer and paper12.
now open the tripleframe from the kit and resize by 80%.
copy and paste (C/P) as a new layer above paper12.
use your magic wand to select the area outside the frame.
invert selection and contract by 3.
open the autumn scene photo and copy.
add a new raster layer below the tripleframe.
paste into selection on the new layer and select none.
duplicate the photo and set the blend mode to overlay.
apply gaussian blur by 3.
use your magic wand below and click the area outside the photo.
invert selection and hit delete on the blurred duplicate to trim the edges.
now that all the basics are done, add any elements, drop shadows, and text.
don't forget to add artist credit and license info.
when you're all done, copy special > copy merged.
paste as a new image and use your magic wand tool to select outside the tag.
invert selection and crop to selection.
that will get rid of any extra space that you don't need.
