***********************

first open up my template and delete the copyright layer.

add a new raster layer above the background layer.

flood fill the layer with #000000.

apply the mask to that layer at default settings.

right click on the mask layer to merge the mask group.

now add a new raster layer above the Oval1.

open paper3 from the kit and copy.

paste into selection on the new raster layer.

*do not deselect.*

in the layer palette, click on the Oval1 and

float/defloat/invert selection.

hit delete on paper3.

select none and hide the Oval1.

repeat the steps with the following papers and layers:

paper14 - Oval2

paper17 - Oval3

paper3 - Oval4

now open the tube and resize it by 75%.

copy and paste (C/P) it as a new layer above the paper14/Oval2 layer.

pull it to the right Oval.

go up to and apply effects > photo effects > black and white film.

set the blend mode to overlay.

duplicate and mirror the tube.

merge down so they are one layer.

now go back to the template Oval2 layer and

select all/float/defloat/invert selection.

hit delete on the tube and select none.

now on the paper3/Oval4 layer, apply the lighting plugin with these settings:

CLICK ON IMAGE FOR LARGER PREVIEW

apply the lighting to the Oval4.

now go back to the original size tube.

C/P at 100% as a new layer on the very top (of all the layers.)

add a drop shadow.

now that all the basics are done, add any elements, text and tubes.

don't forget to add artist credit and license info.

when you're all done, copy special > copy merged.

paste as a new image and use your magic wand tool to select outside the tag.

invert selection and crop to selection.

that will get rid of any extra space that you don't need.

thanks for trying my tutorial! =)
