Tutorial done in PSPX2.
Must having some working knowledge of the program.
Slaja Exclusive PTU kit by Scottish Butterfly, purchase HERE.
Tube is by Roman Zaric, purchase HERE
Template by me, download HERE.

with all the files ready to go, let's get started.
open up my template and delete the copyright info layer.

we will work our way from the bottom up on the template.
on the OVAL template layer, duplicate.
on the duplicate layer, select all/float/defloat.
add a new raster layer above the duplicate layer and delete the duplicate layer.
open paper8 from the kit and copy.
paste into selection on the new raster layer.
select none and delete the OVAL template layer.

you can use the previous step to include a paper for the dotted squares template layer.
I chose to hide it.

repeat first steps with the following layers and papers:
RECTANGLE - paper1
WAVES - paper7
SQUARES - paper9

now for the tube, copy and paste (C/P) on the top layer.
position the tube so it fits into the bottom left square under the squares border.
duplicate and mirror the tube.
re-position the duplicate to fit into the other square.
now merge down one layer so the full size tubes are one layer.
go down to the background layer and select all.
go to image > crop to selection.

now go back to the SQUARES/paper9 layer and use your magic wand tool to select the area
outside the squares.
hit delete on the tubes layer.
select none.
now change the blend mode of the tubes to BURN.

now if you want to add a bevel to some of the layers, you can use the settings I used:
to get a higher bevel, simply change the Depth to a higher number.
I don't recommend going higher than 8.

now that all the basics are done, add any elements, text and tubes.
don't forget to add artist credit and license info.

when you're all done, go down to the background layer and select all.
image > crop to selection.
this gets rid of any extra stuff not visible on the canvas.

hide the background layer.
edit > copy special > copy merged.
paste as a new image and use your magic wand tool to select outside the tag.
invert selection and crop to selection.
that will get rid of any extra space that you don't need.

thanks for trying my tutorial! =)
