Tutorial done in PSPX2.

Must having some working knowledge of the program.

open up the template.

delete the following layers from the template:

all the text layers, stars2, gradient thin rectangle, circle3, glittered circle, circle2, stars, small circle left & right, circle1, dotted line 1, 2 and 3, rectangle shape right and left.

we won't be using these layers.

now merge the following layers:

glittered small circle left with glittered small circle right.

half circle2 with half circle.

glittered rectangle shape right with glittered rectangle shape left.

now let's start from the bottom up.

its your option to hide or keep the rectangle 1 layer from the template. I'm hiding it.

open and copy paper23. on your template, float/defloat the glittered rectangle shape layer.

add a new raster layer above that layer and paste into selection, select none.

hide the original glittered rectangle shape layer.

now open paper6, resize it to 750px by 600. copy and paste it above the thin rectangle layer.

use your magic wand tool to select the area around the rectangle, delete the excess portion of your paper.

select none and hide the original layer.

add a new raster layer above the half circle layer. go back to paper23 and flip it, copy it and select all in your template canvas, paste into selection on the new raster layer.

using your pick tool, resize it to it fits snug around the half circle.

click your half circle layer and float/defloat/invert and delete the excess paper23.

select none and hide original layer.

open paper19 or a red paper, resize it to 700px by 650px. copy and paste it above the glittered small circle layer. float/defloat/invert the small circles and delete the excess paper19.

select none and hide original layer.

now you can use either the crossjewel element or crosspin element for this one. you'll have to resize the crossjewel by 80% for it to fit. copy and paste it above the center rectangle layer. pull it so it sits right on the left of but under the circle2 layer. duplicate and mirror it. merge down so they're one layer.

now open the roundframe from the kit, resize by 80%, copy and paste it in the center above the cross element layer.

open the smoke element, resize it by 80%, copy and paste it under the round frame.

now open paper11, resize it by 60%, copy and paste it under the smoke element.

use your magic wand tool and select inside the circle frame, expand by 5 and invert.

delete the excess portions on the smoke element and paper11. select none.

and thats it for the main portion of the tag. add any other elements that you'd like and your tube as well.

don't forget to add credit and license info for any tubes that require it.

when you're all done, copy special > copy merged.

paste as a new image and use your magic wand tool to select outside the tag.

invert selection and crop to selection.

that will get rid of any extra space that you don't need.
