with all the files ready to go, let's get started.
open a new image with transparent background at 750px by 650px.
add a new raster layer above the background layer and select all.
open paper9 from the kit and paste into selection on the new raster layer.
select none.
apply Mask362 at default settings.
right click on the mask layer to merge the mask group.
repeat the step with paper2 and Mask39.
make sure this Mask is above the last one.
now open frame2 from the kit and resize by 60%.
copy and paste (C/P) as a new layer on top.
use your move tool to center the oval frame.
open paper9 from the kit and resize by 60%.
copy and paste (C/P) as a new layer below the frame.
use your magic wand tool to select inside the frame.
expand selection by 5 and invert selection.
hit delete on the paper9 layer.
select none.
now duplicate the paper9 oval.
on the duplicate paper layer, apply a cutout with the following settings:
V - 0
H - 0
O - 100%
B - 100.00
shadow color - #000000
fill interior - unchecked
change the cutout blend mode to overlay.
now that all the basics are done, add any elements, text and tubes.
don't forget to add artist credit and license info.
when you're all done, copy special > copy merged.
paste as a new image and use your magic wand tool to select outside the tag.
invert selection and crop to selection.
that will get rid of any extra space that you don't need.
thanks for trying my tutorial! =)
