Tutorial done in PSPX2.

with everything open and ready, let's get started.

open a new image with transparent background at 750px by 650px.

add a new raster layer and select all.

open paper3 and copy.

paste into selection on the new raster layer.

select none.

apply the mask at default settings.

right click on the mask layer to merge the mask group.

open the heart element from the kit and resize by 60%.

paste as a new layer above the mask.

free rotate to the left by 10.

pull the heart down on the canvas, just a little bit.

now open the tube and copy.

paste it as a new layer above the heart element.

position the tube so her hips are in the center of bottom of the heart.

add a drop shadow.

duplicate the tube.

drag the duplicate below the heart element.

use your rectangle selection tool to make the following selection:

CLICK IMAGE FOR LARGER PREVIEW

hit delete on the top tube layer.

invert selection and hit delete on the bottom tube layer.

select none.

now use your magic wand tool to select the area outside the heart element.

expand selection by 10.

hit delete on the bottom tube layer.

select none.

now use your magic wand tool to select the area inside the heart element.

expand selection by 8.

add a new raster layer below the bottom tube layer.

open paper8 from the kit and copy.

paste into selection on the new raster layer.

select none.

now that all the basics are done, add any elements, text and tubes.

don't forget to add artist credit and license info.

when you're all done, copy special > copy merged.

paste as a new image and use your magic wand tool to select outside the tag.

invert selection and crop to selection.

that will get rid of any extra space that you don't need.
