open the template and have the kit ready to go.

hide or delete my copyright layer.

add a new raster layer above the background layer and select all.

open paper7 from the kit and copy.

paste into selection on new raster layer in working canvas.

select none.

apply the mask at default settings.

right click on the mask layer to merge the mask group.

now add a new raster layer above the circle1 and select all.

open paper3 from the kit and paste into selection on new raster layer.

do not select none yet.

click on the circle1 layer and float/defloat/invert selection.

hit delete on the paper3 layer.

select none and hide the circle1 layer.

repeat the previous steps with the following layers and papers:

circle2 and paper6

strips1 and paper17

strips2 and paper4

frame and paper2

now for the tube.

open the tube and resize by 70%.

copy and paste (C/P) it as a new layer below the frame/paper2 layer.

if you choose, you can leave the tube with original colors.

:: OPTIONAL ::

if you want to change it to my tag sample above, continue these steps.

add a new raster layer above the frame back layer.

use your magic wand tool to click inside the rectangle.

open paper1 from the kit and copy.

paste into selection on new raster layer.

select none and hide the frame back layer.

click on the tube layer and go to effects > photos effects > black and white film

set the blend mode of the tube to overlay.

now that all the basics are done, add any elements, text and tubes.

don't forget to add artist credit and license info.

when you're all done, copy special > copy merged.

paste as a new image and use your magic wand tool to select outside the tag.

invert selection and crop to selection.

that will get rid of any extra space that you don't need.
