Tutorial done in PSPX2.

so open the template and have your kit ready to go.

add a new a raster layer above the background layer and select all.

open paper6 from the kit and copy.

paste into selection on new layer in working canvas.

select none.

now apply the mask at default settings.

right click on the mask in the layer palette to merge the mask group.

now add a new raster layer above circle1 and select all.

open paper2 from the kit and copy.

paste into selection on new layer in working canvas.

click on the circle1 in the layer palette and float/defloat/invert selection.

hit delete on the paper2 layer.

select none and hide the circle1 layer.

now merge the half circles (1 & 2) together.

repeat the copy/paste/cut steps with the following:

paper8 and the half circles

squares and paper1

circle2 and paper7

with paper7, it doesn't quite match the other blues from paper2 so colorize it.

use the following settings:

open frame2 from the kit.

copy and paste (C/P) it as a new layer at 100% above the paper8/half circles layer.

now open the star2 and resize by 20%.

C/P it as a new layer above the frame2.

now apply the mura's meister copies plugin with these settings:

now open the grass from the kit and C/P as a new layer at 100% above the top circle.

duplicate it twice so you have a total of 3 grass layers.

use your mover tool to position them around the bottom half of the circle2/paper7.

like below:

now merge all 3 layers together and add a drop shadow.

click on the template circle2 layer and float/defloat/invert selection.

hide the template circle2 layer and hit delete on the merged grass layer.

select none.

now that all the basics are done, add any elements, text and tubes.

don't forget to add artist credit and license info.

when you're all done, copy special > copy merged.

paste as a new image and use your magic wand tool to select outside the tag.

invert selection and crop to selection.

that will get rid of any extra space that you don't need.
