Tutorial done in PSPX2.

Must having some working knowledge of the program.

with everything open and ready, let's get started.

open my template and delete my copyright layer.

add a new raster layer above the Rectangle Background template layer and

select all/float/defloat.

open paper3 from the kit and copy.

paste into selection on the new raster layer.

select none and hide the Rectangle Background template layer.

repeat the steps for the following layers and papers:

Double Strips and paper4

Oval and paper 4

on the Rectangle Frame template layer, you can use a paper or a color.

if you use a color, use the same steps as above but instead of paste a paper,

flood fill it with a color of your choice.

I used #83578c.

now open the Curtain element from the kit and resize by 55%.

copy and paste (C/P) as a new layer above the oval/paper4 layer.

duplicate the curtain and mirror it.

now use your mover tool to adjoin them.

now move them centered over the oval/paper4.

open your tube and place it in the center of the oval.

now that all the basics are done, add any elements, text and tubes.

don't forget to add artist credit and license info.

now use your magic wand to select the area outside the rectangle background.

hit delete on all the elements that stick out outside the Rectangle Frame.

when you're all done, copy special > copy merged.

paste as a new image and use your magic wand tool to select outside the tag.

invert selection and crop to selection.

that will get rid of any extra space that you don't need.
