Tutorial done in PSPX2.

Must having some working knowledge of the program.

open the template and delete the copyright layer.

add a new raster layer above the back strips layer and flood fill with #f8a8bf.

use your magic wand to select the area outside the back strips layer and

hit delete on the flood fill layer. 

select none and hide the back strips layer.

click the flood fill layer and under effects go to

texture effects > blinds and use these settings:

now add a new layer above the rectangle layer.

in your foreground, use this color: #f8a8bf

go to gradient and use these settings:

flood fill the layer and use your pick tool to drag it closer around the rectangle.

now paste a tube above the gradient fill layer.

go to effects > photo effects and apply black and white film with default settings.

use overlay as your blend mode for the tube.

now use your magic wand tool to select the area outside the rectangle.

hit delete on the gradient and tube layer.

select none.

now set the feeling flirty text layer as overlay blend.

now merge the circle layers together.

now paste 2 more tubes above the circles layer.

position them how you want them.

duplicate the circles layer and drag it above the tubes.

go up to effects > 3D effects > cutout and use the following settings:

veritical & horizontal - 0

opacity & blur - 100

shadow color - #000000

NO FILL INTERIOR COLOR

add a new raster layer above the center strip layer.

put the following color into foreground: #f8a8bf

and #fed0dd into your background color.

go to gradient and use the following settings:

flood fill the new layer with the gradient.

use your pick tool to drag it horizontally like below:

now add a new raster layer above the gradient fill layer.

fill it with any pattern you choose.

I used a bubbles default pattern that comes with paintshop pro.

apply the black and white film at default settings again.

set the blend mode to overlay.

use your magic wand tool to select the area outside the center strip

and hit delete on the overlay pattern layer.

and you're done with the basics!

now add any elements and text that you want along with drop shadows.

don't forget artist credit and license info.

when you're all done, copy special > copy merged. 

paste as a new image and use your magic wand tool to select outside the tag. 

invert selection and crop to selection. 

that will get rid of any extra space that you don't need.
